Chioma Onuorah is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner originally from Nigeria. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Texas and her Master of Science in Nursing as a PMHNP from Walden University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Aspen University.
Chioma specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, and severe mental illness, with a strong focus on evidence-based medication management and patient-centered care.
She is passionate about providing compassionate, culturally sensitive mental health care and creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered in their recovery. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with underserved communities and spending quality time with her children.
